hiTechMODA Fashion Week 2022
nonPareil Institute Orlando
While I was working at nonPareil Institute Orlando, I was approached with the opportunity to lead a fashion show. I had never done anything like it, so I jumped in headfirst. Through this experience, I got to lead a team of talented designers to create a series of outfits that would be showcased on the runway.
This process was done with designers in training at nonPareil Institute Orlando, a work-readiness program for adults on the autism spectrum. Because of this chance, we were able to provide opportunities for autistic adults to gain experience in both designing outfits and walking runways.

Thanks to the partnership with hiTechMODA, we were able to display the designers artwork in Times Square! This was an awesome surprise for our designers, and we’re very thankful for the opportunity.
My Design
I got to join the designers on the runway, sharing a design of my own! This was a great opportunity, and I’m glad I got to experience walking on a runway!
