Electronic Summer

While working at nonPareil Institute Orlando, I had the opportunity to be the Lead Designer on a project with hiTechMODA, a leading fashion design brand.

As Lead Designer, I worked with producers, designers, and artists to create a line of outfits that would be showcased at the hiTechMODA Fashion Week 2023 Orlando Swim Week.

I had the chance to work with a team of up-and-coming designers to help them design a line of outfits that they would wear on the runway. This process was very involved, including tasks such as designing style guides, reviewing thumbnail & preliminary sketches, and providing feedback for designers. In addition to overseeing designs, I also was charged with designing the shirts worn by the nonPareil Institute Orlando staff at the event.

This project was done through nonPareil Institute Orlando, a nonprofit that helps provide work-readiness skills to adults on the autism spectrum. With this project, we were able to provide both real-world experience and training on skills required as a designer to adults seeking jobs.
